  • About this statement

Robinson Employment Institute, LLC, doing business as Robinson Employment Law Institute ("RELI"), wants everyone who needs employment law training to be able to take it. This statement covers app.relilaw.org, including the Dojo, the course and lesson player, assessments, results, your account, and the public credential verification pages at relilaw.org/verify.

Our target

We design, build and test the Service to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We treat accessibility failures as defects, not enhancements.

What we do

  • Every learner page, including the assessment and verification pages, is checked with an automated accessibility engine (axe-core) in both the light and dark themes before each release, and a release is blocked if any violation is found.
  • The Service can be used with a keyboard alone. A "Skip to content" link is the first item on every page, and focus is always visible.
  • Text and controls meet WCAG 2.2 AA contrast in both themes. Information is never conveyed by colour alone: rank colours are always accompanied by the rank name, and statuses carry a text label.
  • Pages use semantic headings, landmarks and labelled form fields, and work at 200% zoom and on small screens without horizontal scrolling.
  • Lessons are text first. Statutes and citations are rendered as text, not images, so screen readers and translation tools can read them.
  • Animations respect your system's reduced-motion setting.
  • Sign-in for learners is email and password; there is no time-limited code to type.

Known limitations

  • Assessments are not timed today. If a course ever introduces a time limit, the limit will not yet be adjustable from inside the Service; write to us before you start and we will arrange more time or another adjustment.
  • Video and audio. Current courses are text only. If we add video or audio, it will ship with captions and a transcript; until then this does not apply.
  • Third-party pages. Payment is taken on Stripe's hosted Checkout page, which is operated by Stripe, Inc. and covered by Stripe's own accessibility commitments, not this statement.
  • Downloaded documents. Receipts and invoices produced by Stripe may not be fully tagged for screen readers. We will send an accessible copy on request.
  • Manual testing. Automated checks find many, but not all, barriers. A full manual audit with assistive-technology users is planned and not yet complete. [DATE OF LAST MANUAL AUDIT, or "not yet performed"]

Tell us about a barrier

If anything in the Service is hard or impossible for you to use, email admin@trgtechlink.com with the page address and what happened. We aim to reply within five business days and, where we cannot fix the barrier quickly, to give you the content another way (for example, an accessible document or an assisted assessment) at no extra cost.

Formal complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division (civilrights.justice.gov). [ATTORNEY TO CONFIRM any North Carolina-specific route and whether the Americans with Disabilities Act Title III applies to the Service.]
